Dortha Mae Hall, 87, of Howe, Oklahoma was born April 27, 1930 in Howe, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Louella (Essman) Cobb and passed away April 24, 2018 at her home in Howe, Oklahoma.
She is survived by:

Kathy Byford of Waldron, Arkansas
Marilyn Hall of Poteau, Oklahoma
Debra Bass of the home
Three sons:
Lyndon Hall and wife Barbara of the Glendale Community
David Hall of Howe, Oklahoma
Joe Hall of the home
10 grandchildren:
Kevin and Bradley Byford, Lynn and Matthew Hall, Michelle Cauthen, Kim Brown, Frank Morrison, Catlyn Hall, Chelsea Hall, and Chris Hall Lovell
16 great-grandchildren
One great-great grandchild
Three cousins whom she loved dearly:
Doris, Deann, and Mary
Niece and nephew:
Nancy Cobb and Eugene Cobb
Numerous other loved ones and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the late Alton Joe Hall; one son, Carlton Hall; a son-in-law, Douglas Byford; and a brother, Carl Cobb.
Dortha was a life-long resident of the area and a homemaker. She worked with a very close friend, Virginia Stanley for 50 years. Dortha and her life was a blessing to many. Her home was a safe haven, she always had a kind word, a listening ear, and she never turned anyone away. One of Gods angels has gone home to a place of rest. Angels encouraged all around her! She is home with her Lord. Dortha was a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, great-great grandma, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew her. Her favorite verse: "I have fought the good fight; I finished the race, and I have kept the faith". 2 Timothy 4:7.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Frankie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Family
Viewing will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Thursday. The family will meet with friends on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
