Dora Jane Self of Poteau, Oklahoma was born October 26, 1926 in Kaw City, Oklahoma to Edgar and Emmaline (Pyle) Dayton and passed away March 4, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 91.

She is survived by:

Two sons:
Roy Rosco Self and wife Cora of Poteau, Oklahoma
Michael Self and wife Dana of Charleston, Arkansas

Several grandchildren

Several great-grandchildren

Numerous other relatives and friends

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Emmaline Dayton; five brothers and one sister. Dora was a long-time resident of the area and a homemaker. She loved being with family and friends.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
