Donald "Don" Eugene Frost of Heavener, Oklahoma was born December 12, 1940 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Daniel Bennett and Lola Mae (ONeal) Frost. He went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2024 at his home surrounded by family in Heavener at the age of 83.

Bill Frost and wife Betty of Rover, Arkansas

Sydney Paige Pickle, Shelby Cox and husband Garrett, Lillian Burton and husband Brent, Morgan Smith, Meredith Smith, and Olivia Smith
Four great-grandchildren:
Westen Rimer, Brentley Jones, Tanner Sisco, and Charlie Taylor
Special friends:
Ceaser Hernandez and the Kirby Family, Caleb, Tiffany, Chet, and Reid
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends whom loved him very much
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Lola Mae Frost; and two brothers, Daniel and Jack Frost.
Don was a long-time resident of the area. He was a 1959 graduate of Heavener High School, a graduate of Eastern Oklahoma State College, where he was the Football Captain, and a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Don was a teacher, basketball coach, and taught Drivers Education at Heavener High School until he retired in 1994. He was also a poultry and cattle producer. Don was a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church, Heavener VFW, Heavener Masonic Lodge #154, Heavener Lions Club, Oklahoma Educators Association (OEA), and Leflore County Teachers Association. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era. Don will be missed by all whom loved and knew him.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the Heavener First Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Bud Vinson, Brother Sam Dyer, and Brother Brock Hardin officiating. Burial will follow in Heavener Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Poteau Chapter #63 DAV and TAPS played by Garrett Cox under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Frost, Billy Frost, Ben Frost, Lane Frost, Kyle Frost, and Cody Smith
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Ceaser Hernandez, James Payne, Don Manlove, Dillon Beard, Garrick Caldwell, and Caleb Kirby.
Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday; 9:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday; and 9:00 a.m. until Noon, Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family will visit with friends on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
