Delbert Dee Brown of Panama, Oklahoma was born January 23, 1937 in the Benson Hollow Community to Walter and Maggie (Watson) Brown and passed away January 23, 2019 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 82.
He is survived by:

Deborah Hatley and husband Doug of Panama, Oklahoma
Cathy Lazano of Bakersfield, California
Vivian Hernandez of Bakersfield, California
Three sons:
Walter Brown of Long Beach, California
Ted Allen Michael of Oregon
Steve Christmas and wife Robbie of Van Buren, Arkansas
One sister:
Jewel Holmes of Sallisaw, Oklahoma
Several grandchildren
Several great-grandchildren
Numerous other relatives and a host of many friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.
Delbert was a life-long resident of the area, a retired truck driver, and of the Assembly of God faith. He loved spending time with his family and friends and singing music. Delbert will be dearly missed by many whom loved and knew him.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener, Oklahoma with Reverend Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Big Creek Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
