David Eugene Nobles of Heavener, Oklahoma was born July 11, 1963 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Harold and Mary Sue (Hamner) Nobles and passed away on May 4, 2023 in Shearwood, Arkansas at the age of 59.

He is survived by:

Two daughters:
Stephanie Nobles of Spiro, Oklahoma
Stacey Nobles of St. Ignace, Michigan

One step-daughter:
Nikki Hope of Poteau, Oklahoma

Two step-sons:
Jarrett Goforth of Howe, Oklahoma
Derrick Taylor of Coalgate, Oklahoma

One brother:
Gary Don Nobles of Heavener, Oklahoma

One grandson:
Brody Smith

Numerous other loved ones and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mary Sue Nobles; his wife, Karen Nobles; and one brother, Tony Nobles.

David was a 1982 graduate of Panama High School. He was a longtime resident of the area and a Roughneck in the Oil Field. David loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved to grill on the smoker. David was a loving dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charlie Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Reichert Cemetery in the Reichert Community under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be: Daryl Hetherington, Mike Turnipseed, Brian Tackett, Randy McKinney, and Jo Davis.

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., Monday and Tuesday; and 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
