David Rolo Lewis of Hodgen, Oklahoma was born December 20, 1946 in Brewster, Washington to Rolo and Ora Mae (Hodges) Lewis and passed away January 28, 2018 in Hodgen, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rolo and Ora Mae Lewis. David was a long-time resident of the area, a member of the Windsor Hill Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, and a member of the American Legion. He was a veteran of the Vietnam Era, where he served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed by many.

Graveside service will be 12 noon, Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas with Brother Jason Waymire officiating. Burial will follow in U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas with U.S. Navy Honors Team under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from noon until 8:30 p.m., Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., Wednesday.
