Daniel Henry
Stripling
Jan 31, 1992 — Mar 1, 2017
Daniel Henry Stripling was born January 31, 1992 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Glenn and Patricia (Roberts) Stripling, on a beautiful sunny day and was presented to his big brother, Jonathan as his third birthday present. He passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 25.
Daniel is survived by:
His mom and dad:
Patricia and Glenn Stripling of Heavener, Oklahoma
One brother and sister-in-law:
Jonathan and Katey Stripling of Moore, Oklahoma
Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edith and Cephas Roberts and Dortha and Henry Stripling; Aunt Jane Roberts and Uncle Mike Stripling. Daniel attended Heavener Public Schools where he graduated with the class of 2010. While attending school, he received perfect attendance for 12 years. Daniel was also the salutatorian of his 8th and 12th grade classes. He gave an entertaining speech that people still remember him by. He shocked his classmates in 12th grade by putting on an entertaining performance in the school talent show, the thing that amazed people the most was his participation, since he was known as not saying much. Daniel attended CASC and briefly Okmulgee Tech Culinary Arts School, but had to give up his dream and quit because of illness. He was attending UAFS and was seeking a degree in Graphic Design and Studio Art. Daniel fought a long fight of illness. Daniel was the sunshine in his family, if someone was feeling down he was always there to make them laugh even when he felt his worse. Daniel loved baking and would make cookies to take to his art classes or anyone else he could share them with, including making them for the homeless. He loved sewing, crafts and reading. He enjoyed nature watching the stars and walking in the moonlight. Daniel has left a huge emptiness in his familys lives.
