Obituary

Daniel Raymond Culley, 25, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at his home in Forrester, Oklahoma. Daniel was born on August 25, 1995 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Roy Culley and Renata Goolsby. He was a member of the Cross Cowboy Church in Summerfield, Oklahoma and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior at the age of 12. Daniel graduated in 2015 from Heavener High School where he was active in FFA and the Show Team. Daniel spent his summers growing up participating in ranch rodeos and working at the sale barn. He was a hardworking country boy with the biggest heart of gold. Daniel had the best personality, most handsome smile, and a contagious laugh. He was someone that loved the farm life and anything to do with horses and cattle. He was the kind of young man anyone would be proud to call a son, a brother, an uncle, a grandson, a nephew, a cousin, and most importantly a friend to all. Daniel will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.

Daniel is preceded in death by his Granny Mary Knapp of Albion, Oklahoma and Maternal Grandparents of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Hodgen School Gymnasium with Brother Joe Haydon Hall and Brother Kenny Matlock officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Grove Cemetery in Talihina, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Clayton Kannady, Clayton Morgan, Colt Callahan, Quinton McGee, Tyler Manley, Brandon Moody, Gus Williams, Colt Dunigan, and Derek Davis
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Lexie Moody, Ashlyn Moody, Abbi Moody, Allison Benefield, Drew Benefield, and Haylee Benefield
Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday; 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday. The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
