Kevin Craig Kirksey of Heavener, Oklahoma was born November 12, 1963 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Bobby Ray and Doris Ann (Pledger) Kirksey and passed away June 2, 2018 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 54.

Other loved ones and a host of friends
Craig was a life-long resident of the area and was a 1982 graduate of Heavener High School. He was a member of the Heavener First Baptist Church and an avid outdoorsman. Craig enjoyed arrow head hunting, fishing, hunting, and loved to fix things. He was a laid back guy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan. Craig will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew him.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Heavener First Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Sam Dyer and Brother Brock Hardin officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Justin Thornburg, Brice Sullivan, Jason Ray, Kenny Renick, Doug Kirksey, Jim Gregory, Kris Kirksey, and John Livesay.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jace Thornburg, Carter Stringfellow, Kirksey Perdue, Ralph Perdue, Jr., Mark Huie, Mickey Dedmon, Jim Winters, and MJ Gregory.
Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 p.m., Sunday and 8:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday. The family will visit with friends on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
