Cassandra A. (McCurtain) Maiden of Fort Smith, Arkansas was born March 24, 1962 in Poteau, Oklahoma to Thalbert "Dude" and Judith (Bottoms) McCurtain and passed away September 23, 2017 in Fort Smith, Arkansas at the age of 55.

Matt Hudson and wife Stephanie of Rogers, Arkansas

Two grandchildren:
Teagan and Charles Hudson of Rogers, Arkansas

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and a host of friends

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Brittany Hudson. Cassandra was a 1980 Heavener High School graduate and was a graduate of Carl Albert State College where she received her Associates Degree in Nursing. She was a traveling Registered Nurse where she worked at Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center and Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was a member of the Lovings Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Cassandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She loved life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Lovings Baptist Church with Reverend Bob McCaslin and Reverend Mark Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Sunday and 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
