Robert "Bob" Dean ODell of Hodgen, Oklahoma was born October 6, 1933 in Maxdale, Texas to J.D. ODell and Daisy (Murphy) ODell and passed away February 18, 2024 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 90.

James ODell and wife Susan of Claremore, Oklahoma
Two grandchildren:
Jacy Donnelly and husband Sherrod

A wonderful group of nieces, nephews, other loved ones, and a host of many friends
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dorothy Goodnight; and a brother, William ODell. Robert was a member, a deacon, and a Sunday School teacher at Heavener First Baptist Church. Bob retired from AT&T after 32 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, playing golf, and cheering on the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma State Cowboys. He will be deeply missed.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., February 23, 2024 at the Maxdale Cemetery in Killeen, Texas with Brother Brock Hardin officiating under the direction of Dowden Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
He will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home.
