Billy Wayne Teakell of Howe, Oklahoma was born on December 8, 1943 in Levelland, Texas to Roy and Alice (Abshier) Teakell and passed away on November 9, 2019 in Howe, Oklahoma at the age of 75.

Eric, John, Brandon, Justin, Briley, Breanna, Landon, Brody, Denzil, and Heather
8 great-grandchildren:
Brock, Brody, Benson, Brawnson, Ammon, Calen, Wyatt, and Micah
Numerous other family, friends, and relatives along with special friends from Heavener First Baptist Church
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Alice Teakell; his first wife, Linda Teakell; and a grandson, Kody Wallace.
Billy was a long-time resident of the area, a retired Driller for Nabors Drilling, and a member of Heavener First Baptist Church. He was known as "Tator Billy" at Heavener First Baptist Church because he was well known for cooking tators at all church events and/or meals. Billy enjoyed drag racing and mowing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Billy will be deeply missed by all whom loved and knew him.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2019 at Heavener First Baptist Church in Heavener, Oklahoma with Brother Sam Dyer and Brother Joe Haydon Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Howe Cemetery in Howe, Oklahoma under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Anthony Stavinoha, Lee Akins, David Benson, Chris Benson, John Hall, and Eric Haynes.
Viewing will be from noon until 8:00 p.m., Sunday and 8:00 a.m. until noon, Monday at the funeral home.
