Billy Joe Shadwick of Heavener, Oklahoma was born August 25, 1928 in the Number 10 Community, Howe, Oklahoma to William Calvin and Bertha Ann (Kelly) Shadwick and passed away February 24, 2017 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 89.




He is survived by:

Donna Kay Dehart and husband Kenny of Heavener, Oklahoma




Two sons:

Bradley Hildebrant and wife Beth Ann of Burlington, Iowa

Ron Hildebrant of Howe, Oklahoma




One daughter in law:

Tammy Shadwick




Seven grandchildren:

Buck Shot Hunt and wife Michelle, Angie Kay Turner and husband Steve, Jennifer Hildebrant, Joshua Hildebrant, Jeri Hildebrant, Joseph Hildebrant, Amber Hildebrant




Thirteen great grandchildren:

Bucky Hunt IV, David Hunt, Jada Kay Hunt, Abby Kay Turner Alexis Hildebrant, Tori Hildebrant, Aiden Hildebrant, Grayson Hildebrant, Kristan Hildebrant, Rowdy Hildebrant, Trent Hildebrant, Trey Hildebrant, Teryn Hildebrant

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley; two sons, Billy Ray Shadwick and Mitchell Lynn Shadwick; two sisters and five brothers. Bill ran a crane, bull dozer, and other heavy equipment. He worked on numerous large dam projects such as Broken Bow Lake Dam, Keystone Lake Dam and Lake Wister Dam. He was a hard worker, loving husband, father, and friend to everyone he met.




The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
