Billy Joe Parker of Waldron, Arkansas was born October 9, 1928 in Heavener, Oklahoma to Harvie and Bertha May (Farnsworth) Parker and passed away November 8, 2016 in Pocola, Oklahoma at the age of 88.

He is survived by:

One sister:
Georgia Irene Lankford of Bozeman, Montana

One brother:
Harvey Parker of Bates, Arkansas

Numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill was a life-long resident of the area and a retired truck driver. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Army/Air Force where he served his country during World War II.

The family will visit with friends on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
