Barbara Jean McBride of Muse, Oklahoma was born October 23, 1932 in the Big Cedar Community to W.C. and Enola (Cross) Dehart. The Lord called her home on May 9, 2024 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 91.
She was a member of the Big Cedar Free Will Baptist Church for 79 years. She married Bill McBride on December 27, 1948. She loved hunting with Orville and Bryan and fishing with her sister, Dorothy. Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Enola Dehart; her husband, Bill McBride; one infant daughter, Margaret McBride; a grandson, Scotty McBride; and two brothers, Junior and Printess Dehart.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Big Cedar Free Will Baptist Church in the Big Cedar Community with Minister John Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Big Cedar Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be: Her Family
Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
