Alma Faye Yandell of Heavener, Oklahoma was born July 7, 1941 in Cove, Arkansas to Floyd and Myrtle (Cureton) Brazil and passed away June 1, 2017 in Heavener, Oklahoma at the age of 75.

Lance Yandell and wife Kathy of Heavener, Oklahoma

One step-daughter:
Courtney Denniston and husband Jeremy of Yukon, Oklahoma

One sister:
Brenda Jones and husband Johnny of Port Arthur, Texas

Two grandchildren:
Ryan Hall
Randy Hall

Twelve step-grandchildren

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Brazil. Alma was a member of the Lovings Baptist Church. She retired from teaching at Beaumont Public Schools in Beaumont, Texas and Howe Public Schools. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Lovings Baptist Church with Reverend Mark Morris and Reverend Larry Yandell officiating. Burial will follow in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Funeral Home of Heavener, Oklahoma.

Viewing will be from noon until 8:30 p.m., Friday and 8:00 a.m. until noon, Saturday. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
