Albert Wayne Prince of the Lovings Community in Heavener, Oklahoma was born October 15, 1956 in Heavener, Oklahoma to John Wilburn and Wilma Laudene (Churchill) Prince and passed away on November 27, 2024 in Poteau, Oklahoma at the age of 68.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wilburn and Wilma Prince; his wife, Dottie Prince; three brothers Harold Prince, Johnny Prince, and Marvin Duane Prince; and a nephew, Mycal Prince.
Wayne was a life-long resident of the area, worked as a janitor for CASC, and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Poteau. Wayne was an avid 49ers fan, enjoyed bowling, miniature golf, horseshoes, and was also a long standing member of LDS. He will be deeply missed by many whom loved and knew him.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Poteau, Oklahoma with President Eric Barlow officiating. Burial will follow in Lovings Cemetery under the direction of Dowden-Roberts Cremation Center of Poteau, Oklahoma.
The family request that people wear hunter green clothing, Oklahoma Sooners, or Carl Albert State College clothing in honor of Wayne.
Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Fessler, Jerry Rodgers, Justin Woodral, Jake Gillham, Gary Kitchens, and Nick Lloyd.
Viewing will be from Noon until 8:00 p.m., Monday. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home at 28918 205th Avenue, Poteau, Oklahoma.
